Oh, hello. I didn’t see you there.

Please step into my office. I would like to talk to you for a while about my second day in Greece....

As I mentioned in my first post – It was hot. After migrating from a 5C to 10C environment, to the 30C to 40C environment in Greece, we were having enough trouble to keep from just passing out due to heatstroke, during the day, let alone attempting to SLEEP at night. Needless to say, sleep was impossible, made all the more worse due to the magnificent taunting of the hotel staff.

    Yep. Its holiday time again.

This time our destination is Greece; Beginning with the historic and recently popular island of Rhodes (Or Rodos to the locals). Also worth noting before the tale begins in earnest is that the woman and I were not alone this time. The woman's mother, sister in law and her 2 young children were coming along. Of course, I wanted nothing to do with them whatsoever and they were left mostly to their own devices, while I marched on in my typically adventurous and devilishly handsome way, towards more interesting things. ...

    Hullo thar again.

Sorry about the delay in the final segment of the thread. I moved house and had allot of shit to get wired, but now that all of that is taken care of; Im free to finish this bitch.

Sadly, this will not be the most enthralling of the megathread posts. We didn't end the trip with a bang, but instead a long, drawn out fart.

    Trondheim is dull.

Welcome folks to the 11th day of our journey and the final stretch of road we were going to cross. We set off in the early hours towards our final destination of Trondheim, however as this was the last driving day and as the regular route is somewhat dull, we organised a little detour along the famous “Atlantic ocean highway” and a stopover in an island town called Kristiansund (Not to be confused with Kristiansand in the south...).

Nyan nyan nyan nyan nya-nya-nya-nya-nya nyan...

Oh im sorry, you interrupted me while I was in the middle of something important....

This particular episode of the Cyan show is a little unusual as it covers the left overs of the previous day plus this day – Otherwise the last megathread would go on forever and then this one would be painfully short.

    Day 9?

Why yes good sirs and madams, tis indeed the 9th morn of this roadtrip. Today was scheduled to be another day on the road, so we packed our things and as we dragged out bags out onto the street we all froze solid and gaped in stunned, slack jawed silence at the unbelievable sight before us.

    Blue skies. In Bergen.

    Hail and well met travellers.
Welcome to the 8th day in Norway and Unlike my welcome to you now, we ourselves did not do much to welcome this particular day and slept in until 10. But it was ok because we only had one goal for the day: We planned to assault the largest of the mountains surrounding Bergen – Mt. Fløyen.

This will also be very short compared to the most of the other megathreads because there isn’t really a whole lot to do in Bergen that we didn’t already do yesterday, but I digress; We strolled on out of the Basic Hotel and headed on across to Bryggen again (It was only 5 mins walk from our house) in search of some kind of fuel.

Welcome to our 1 week anniversary of the holiday!
We have been some places and done some things, but we aint done yet. Today we leave Stavanger and head more north to a city that is something of a promised land for Black Metal; Bergen.
Bergen is an interesting city. It is the old capital of Norway, one of the oldest cities in northern Europe and the city itself is literally surrounded by huge mountains which causes Bergen to be the most mild city in northern Europe, with the highest temperatures anywhere in this part of Europe during winter time.

What this means in layman’s terms; is that Bergen is rain.

    Rain incarnate.

The 3 musketeers climbed wearily out of bed on an overcast Norwegian Sunday afternoon. We dined on terrible complimentary breakfast buffet and noticed how the hallways air-conditioning smelled like someone had left an iron on too long.

Hopeful yet for an all consuming fire, we told nobody about the smell and jumped back into Tor for a short drive over to our first (and most certainly not last) ever ferry ride in Norway! Our destination? - Neverdalsfjellet. A 700 meter tall mountain peak boasting one of the (non official) wonders of the natural world: Preikestolen. A gigantic cliff with more than a 600 meter sheer drop to the ground. Motherfucking mountain climbing time.

Lets get the fuck out of this city.

That was about all I really had in my mind that morning and everyone else agreed. Luckily enough, the weather seemed to have brightened. In celebration of the fact that we were leaving Oslo and giving us nice weather for the drive, or Oslo celebrating that we were leaving... Which one it was we were unsure, but it mattered little.

Ok im lying. The only real thing in my mind was OH DEAR GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE?!?!
