Mass Immolation

Here we are at our final day in Rome.

We were feeling pretty beaten up after a week of blistering heat, dozens and dozens of kilometers walked every day and endless touristing and thusly – Resided to try and take it a little more easy today.
As it stood, we were on our way to the “Villa Borghese”, which is a giant park the centre of Rome. Much like the Italian answer to America’s Central Park. It’s a beautiful place, set atop a large hill overlooking much of downtown Rome, with its own rolling green hills and bicycle paths that snake out across the place like the tracts in an ant farm.

Sorry for the delay, but over the last month I’ve been a dangerous combination of busy and unmotivated, Yet, here I am again with part 2 of the trip to Italy.

Today we had our sights on the same place every tourist who visits Italy must go. The coliseum and the Roman Forums.

Just to get this out of the way first, i was having some camera problems all damned weekend. So far as i can tell the memory card is fried and keeps not working.

I didnt get a single photograph from the 3rd day, and im missing quite a few bands, so its going to be a bit of a subdued Tuska 2011 thread this year.
